Robin Hines
Robin Hines Born in South Australia, 1945. Studied Art at Caulfield Technical College, Melbourne and Claremont School of Art, Perth, Western Australia. Robin has been painting for over 30 years, and since 1988 as a full time artist and teacher of watercolour painting. He has been involved in group and solo exhibitions in Western Australia, Tasmania and Queensland. Robin has travelled widely, and his paintings are held in collections throughout Australia and the United Kingdom. Robin and his family lived in Tasmania for some time and he has gained a reputation as a fine watercolourist and exhibits there regularly. He is now living at Tin Can Bay on the Cooloola Coast in Queensland, and is much sought after for demonstrating and teaching watercolour painting.

Since his first solo exhibition in June 1991 Robin has been involved with many exhibitions and has won many awards, inc. 1st Prize Watercolour Section, Redland Art Awards 1996 (Brisbane)
