The Manly Gallery - Grayden Scott
About Grayden Scott
Grayden W Scott was born in Mt Isa Queensland and commenced painting at a very early age. He studied under Mr Roy Churcher in freehand drawing at Brisbane in the late 1950’s. He spent the early years of his artistic career as Visual Display Artist with David Jones Brisbane. The first of Grayden’s gallery sales were through the Grand Central Gallery in Queen Street Brisbane during the 1960’s.
A move to Sydney opened many doors for the artist and his career prospered. In 1983 Grayden returned to Queensland and started touring overseas where he found much inspiration for his works. Grayden has works displayed throughout Australia and United Kingdom.
Grayden, with an eye for detail, presents rich and beautifully styled Oil Paintings with a great sense of colour. They are bright and cheerful, embodying the culture and geography of coastal landscapes. Having successfully entered numerous Art Exhibitions he is also featured in publications and donated works for public benefits.
