Past Exhibitions
The Manly Gallery Presents
Coastal waters, rocky ranges, and historic ruins – these are some of the subjects portrayed by two artists who met up in the Flinders Ranges in South Australia.
Bruce – an award winning watercolourist, has visited the area eight times to draw and paint. His enthusiasm for the area rubbed off on Pam - an acclaimed contemporar landscape artist, who travelled via the Strzelecki Track to meet up at Parachilna in South Australia.
Bruce’s finely executed watercolours and Pam’s bold canvases capture these moments yet deliver different perspectives on an everchanging landscape.
Burke and Wills campsites – waterholes & woolsheds, bores, rivers and lakes then finally the sea – a journey to sketch and record the colours and atmosphere. Closer to home, some familiar sites will be sure to please.
Bruce and Pam are holding an exhibition of the results of this trip at the Manly Gallery from the 3rd April.
